Influencer Marketing: Are you affected by it?

Recently, I have been thinking of getting braces as my upper set of teeth is protruding out and kinda looks like bugs bunny.

With so many choices around, I started googling about what choices and where I should get my braces done.

Invisalign is increasingly popular nowadays as it is marketed as an invisible braces where you can wear clear aligners hence not having to wear the metal braces that can be more painful.

However, the price of Invisalign is high as $9000.

So while googling, I came across a few articles about braces review where an influencer blogs about her process of having braces with a certain doctor and how good the experience was.

I mean I do get influenced to use that doctor or product that she is recommending as she gives me the assurance that the process was smooth, not painful and great.

Same thing for Lasik, I also was googling it one day and found so many post of people recommending their doctor who was able to give them such great service.

Of course, not complaining about it but I was just wondering if it was a paid post or did they really felt that the service was so good as I was kinda persuaded and really googled more about that certain doctor.

Many advertising are now done through social media as the impact is so much greater and it spreads like wildfire but how much of it is true?

  1. You are very right. Influencer marketing is the latest trend in digital marketing. Businesses today are using this strategy a lot for their growth. I agree not everything can be true. You have to keep finding information and reviews regarding the things you want to know. It is never easy but you have to keep digging dip to find exactly what you need.
